Bobby,
I am a huge fan.
I heard hold the line in 1979.
I am still listening to it today.
No other toto singers sang it better.

It's been a great journey ..Remember Cannes..
"And Miles To Go before We Sleep"
Thanks for the memories Bobby ..it was sure fun

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Bobby, I am so very proud of you and your success in your music career. I enjoyed our High School Days and your musical talent back then. I especially looked forward to the Sunday and Wednesday night Church Services when your mom played the piano. She really added "Life" to the Church Music. I love the "Life" you bring to music today. Keep on Keeping on....I am just an old Vinton, LA friend. Ronnie

hey Bobby, great new website-WOW! I saw you with Toto when you had to use a chair to sit on because you broke your leg prior to the show.....and remember, at nite after the Saturday Namm show - you stopped on stage to do some vocals and loosen up, we spoke for a bit - the good ole days, but now, I'd sure like to bring my wife and kids to see you live! Treasure Coast Florida, be well!!!

Hi Bobby - Just wanted to say hi. Was listening to the 2007 Paris "Falling in Between" tour...pure awesomeness! Was really disappointed TOTO finally came to New Orleans and you weren't involved. Although I enjoyed many of your solo shows, one of the best being on the Queen Mary, I never got to see you with TOTO....oh well...maybe one day...Good Luck!

Hey Bobby, I saw you perform about 15 years ago in Gulfport, Mississippi and you signed my Toto picture disc Isolation. You said you did not recognize any of the members on the disc. I did some research and found that they are: Fergie Frederiksen - lead vocals (except on "Stranger in Town", "How Does it Feel", and "Holyanna", backing vocals
Steve Lukather - guitars, backing vocals, lead vocal on "How Does It Feel"
David Paich - keyboards; backing vocals; lead vocals on "Carmen", "Stranger In Town", and "Holyanna"; orchestral arrangements on "How Does it Feel" and "Change of Heart"
Steve Porcaro - keyboards
Mike Porcaro - bass
Jeff Porcaro - drums, percussion

Tomorrow night we are seeing Steve Lukather with Ringo Starr at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi.
I just wanted to thank you for the autograph and wish you all the best.
In April I am going the invite you to my crawfish boil and show you how its done in Mississippi. Thanks again, Gary

hi Bobby
Sorry for the loss of your friend,,,another superb singer

I don't how much or how little you like harping on the past..lol,,,but I find myself ever -revisiting The Agora footage from 79...and each time I just can't believe how good it is...I too was lucky to have my livelihood b singing ( not at your level of course) for over 15 yrs...I cannot tell you the influence the first Toto record had on my young psyche at the time...In truth I was younger than most listeners of that record at the time...about 12 yrs old...and I devoured it...and have a vague memory of Ill Supply the Love on Kirschner's...am I correct in that? did you do that show with that song?....do you have any Canada plans at all??...all the best...your fan...Marc

Hi Bobby,

Well, tonight I'm seeing Toto at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California. And I'm going to miss you.

Certainly, Joe is a capable vocalist. He's got a good set of pipes. And it'll be great to see Luke, David Paich, Steve Porcaro and David Hungate(!) up there on stage.

However, having known Toto from the early days as an impressionable youth, it is your voice that resonates with me most. I missed you while you were away, celebrated when you returned for Mindfields, and now I'm coming to terms with the latest iteration of the band.

But who am I to judge? Life is long, and change is inevitable. Hell, I've lived through my share of break-ups, make-ups, re-breakups and re-make-ups. Shit happens. For any number of reasons. And we move on, yes?

Thank you, Bobby, for sharing your great talent with us. I can claim many memories anchored by your voice as the signature sound of Toto. And I'll reserve a place in my thoughts to occasionally wish, perhaps wistfully, for a re-reunion.

One final thought: I've listened intently to the Toto catalog with a greater awareness. And mister, there's been no one in the band--or pretty much anywhere else--who can do what you what you do. You're a master of your craft.

Your friend,

Phil
